if i gut the cat, will it stop that stupid sound that you get with haveing a "performance/no muffler? that sound : airy annoying noise.

why would you gut it? Unless its clogged, it wont gain you any performance.

no it wont, it will probably sound even worse. try adding a resonator somewhere in the exhaust. it helps with raspy ricey pipe with out hurting performance

On top of that, if you are driving an obdII vehicle you will set a low catalyst efficency code because the front and rear o2’s are reading the same.

i just hate the noise, what resonator would you suggest for a 3.9 magnum v6, i dont want a ricer sound.

it’s OBD-II… i’d leave it alone for smog inspection. i mean if it was at least a 318 or the 4.7 jeep engine, maybe bother - but it’s just the v6, i’ve yet to hear a mainstream NA american v6 that sounds really good with exhaust. best of luck if you do decide to go with a resonator, tho :tup:
