Well whenever you are ready to travel just let me know i am game to go just about anywhere whenever.
I would have bought a house, and modded the shit out of that.
Different poisons. If you are into something like cars, chances are you’re “some type of person” that likes to tinker with things in general.
I would not have dumped a load of money I dont have into a car thats not fast.
Meh, kinda already lost it a few years ago. I just like driving them. Modding/working on them, not so much.
yes and no. Right now, I’m not very concerned about cars or motorcycles. I drive my dd, and while I hope to get off my ass and work on my projects, when I have free time I’d much rather spend it playing hockey.
If I weren’t into cars I’d probably have the same dd, just no fun cars. I like having fun cars, I’m sure when I care about them again I’ll get them together. And I LOVE doing trackdays. but right now, it’s just not a priority for me at all
God yes.
I could easily enjoy myself with my myriad of other ridiculous and expensive hobbies. They are all cut short due to spreading myself across all of them.
It’s a tough decision, some of the happiest times of my life have been behind the wheels of a race car, then again some of the worst (and most expensive) have as well. I really don’t have the money at this time of my life to race anymore, nor do I have the time/money to fix my stupid vw, yet I’m not ready to step aside and move on to anything else.
I would say yes but keep the knowledge.
Although no matter what you are into you can spend tens of thousands to get to that ultra hobbiest level
i would give it up in a heart beat. but its like a drug and im addicted.
My love of cars is what motivated me to get my engineering degree, and get me where I am today.
If I wasn’t into car, I would’ve about 70k in my bank right now. I would invest it all into something that make money for me.
nope. I love them too much. Although many things would be much easier…most of the things I enjoy doing would come to a hault.
Swing both ways and kill 2 birds with 1 stone
I voted 1 very quickly.
In a second.
I’m actually in this process :tif:
Def not. Im honestly not sure what Id do otherwise. Probably work out more, or at least some.
I need to have like 5 projects going at once or Im completely bored. If it wasnt cars it would be something else that I could be creative with my mind and hands.
Dan
ive lost it for now, i dont even want to look at my car or drive it for that matter
Well,I’m into them but not as heavy as some of you guys.
I don’t have the space requirements to work on my own stuff. If I had my own garage I’d definitely have a project in it.
When I move out and become more financially successful I’ll get something for the tinkering,I’ll just stick to slow ass DD’s for now.
It’s so true.
I pretty much scaled back the car thing and have moved onto to biking, and still pour tons of money into skiing. You can’t escape the expenses once you get a hobby.
And unless you sit on a couch and do nothing all your free time, then you will always replace one hobby with another.
No, it’s great to know things.
If I wasn’t into cars, I wouldn’t change my own oil, do my own work, etc. Therefore I’d pay dealer pricing on labor and parts, and when they convince me that my left headlight fluid filter needed to be changed, I’d understand that $85 was a bargain to prevent it from blowing my car up down the road…
