If You Had To Choose One?

+1 the TC cobalt is leaps and bounds ahead of the old SC model.

Personally I would never own one of those cobalts. They’re cool and all, but fwd just isn’t cool to me. Sliding the ass end out is way more fun. Roasting front tires is just lame.

god damn.

neither, but i went with the genesis for obvious reasons.

i would go with the genesis, but, as stated, if i was spending that much on a vehicle, it would not be for either of these two.

uggghhh god neither

but if i had to pick one- hyundaii

shitty jap car > shitty pile of fucking shit american GM shit

2011 Mustang v6.

RWD

anyone have first hand experience with a genesis? i know i can get finacced for one of those to cars, thats why they came up. and i believe the genesis has a ten year warranty.

and no im not planing a gt42, but i figure stock turbo, all supporting mods, like 22psi and a reflash it should haul out alright

gensis ftw, i absolutely love those cars!

No first hand, but you should read some reviews. I’ve read a lot of reviews that say that there’s wayyyy too much road noise, and seats make for uncomfortable drives longer than an hour. Lots of complaints about back/butt hurting. Also, I’ve read the manual transmission blows.

i think the bitties would like the genesis as well. they think im rich driving my fancy hyundai

tell me about road noise i drive a 97 civic hatch lol.

i have read a few, i wanna make a good choice this time around

I wouldn’t buy a car that isn’t comfy for drives longer than an hour. I would be seriously disappointed. Especially if it’s brand new.

It’s Korean. :roll2:

For the price, I’d stay away from the sport compact sector.

So you want it for a ten year warranty and you plan on modding it. wtf.

assuming you are going to just get the base price of 22k you can get a decent used WRX or something along those lines

LOL there is so many nice used cars that can be had for the price of a caviler on steroids or a Hyundai

You can get a modded evo or sti, used with not too many miles, the power you want, and amazing in winter in that price range. I bought a 2005 evo from nyc last march and ive never loved a car so much. Amazing power, handling, and with blizzaks in winter im passing 4x4’s

OP why are you looking at getting a new car?

You say that like you don’t have permanent AWD…

well i could always pull out the front shafts! lol but yea you know what i mean. They handle amazing in the winter
