If You Had To Choose One?

i test drove the 2.0T, it was fun as hell! it has a stupid 1st gear blocker, like ya cant go from 3rd to first, gotta get used to it

and to go into reverse, its a bitch, you really gotta push to the left to get it in, it doesnt duck down or pull up, crappy design imo

when i went to get my quote they had a lsit of what could be modded without voidig the warranty, lots of good stuff =)

also, the salesman told me there was NO (edit) BOV, if there is, i couldnt hear it

It’s probably recirculated.

BMWs have used that method for years and its fantastic.

I would have said genesis but I drove one and hated it so much I do not wish one upon anybody. However I have never driven a cobalt which I am sure sucks as well. I voted cobalt since I can only fathom the suck compared to confirming the suck.

maybe I am partial, but why not consider a subaru wrx?

drive an ss/tc. I did a 13 hour stint driving Choko’s and was able to walk afterwards. Comfy with plenty of power and the nitrous dind’t hurt either. I felt safer at 140 in his car than I do in my T/A.

I hate Hyundais more than I hate FWD.

The Genesis…

SS/TC. Lot of pocket rocket for the money. Also I have to pick whatever Jam doesnt because his taste in cars is always my exact inverse.

Come on, you don’t think a 400 hp GTO is ugly but an Element is HOT as fuck, whats wrong with you?

I would probably choose the RWD car…

WTF happened w/ the genesis anyway? It was supposed to be the “next big thing”, but it never materialized…

This is NYSpeed. For 22k you should buy a 100k mile exotic or luxury sedan so you can pretend you’re far more baller than you are.

Have you driven a 2.0t? I took a track 2.0T out for a test drive, ready to buy. The rev hang issue is def. a turn off, and it made the car hard to drive smooth, you have to granny shift it to drive smoothly.

I don’t know if they fixed it yet, but otherwise I’d buy it.

they’re out there…their community is growing. I have heard the turbo doesn’t make ANY power stock and that there have been a few popped motors surfacing (modded cars).

it was pretty slow when i drove hte genesis, but it has LOTS of potential for modding, the block is based on the EVOs

Genesis.
 to GM quality. I’d never buy a newer GM car.

You shouldnt be downshifting from 3rd to first, or any gear to first unless you’re stopped…

i know, i was pulling into a parking lot at 4mph, god that fucking shifter was stubborn

Going into debt for a new car that you plan to mod is a bad idea. I’d rather have the out of warranty proven car then wreck the warranty on my new car.
