If you HAD to vote TODAY

Ah. Considering the majority of this Country want it ended and given what we have lost on it already, yea, I’d say it’s important.

I agree with you. They all have an agenda unfortunately. Let’s be clear here and say that regardless of who we vote for, often, it’s someone that best suits your views. Like, there are many things Obama does that I dislike. It’s lack of options really.

It’s very important. He is VERY old for his age given what he has went through. With that said, I am concerned that his health will start to fail him at the end of his tensure that could go to two terms. The leader of my Military shouldn’t be someone that wears depends.

Nice post. Sorry to assume you are a Republican supporter. I should have asked first.

For me, he is about as close to my side as possible given he is a Republican. I am a bit worried about his age and the fact that his past dictates his future as he is very pro-war as that is what he knows.

im goin to vote for Optimus Prime, anyways

I also want it ended, I’m sure he wants it to end as soon as possible, nobody wants to be at war and kill innocent people for no reason now. I just think that hes pro war is a little irrelevant at this point, hell look at Hillary’s speaches now and she voted for the war, thats another reason I wont vote for her, shes a fucking liar, dodging sniper bullets my fuckin ass, thats the stupides thing I’ve ever heard despite that its a complete lie anyways, she was walking on flowers that little girls were throwing in front of her. I’m not voting for Osama :lol for the simple reason that, I think he is un-American, and probably a racist. You dont just go to a church every day your entire life and not realize that your pastor is an ignorant racist fuck, and the fact that he doesnt put his hand over his heart during the anthem, why doesnt he just go ahead and strap a bomb to yourself and detonate it in the middle of the street while hes at it. You cant be an American citizen and hate America, thats fucking stupid and he certainly shouldnt be our leader. I like ron paul but it almost seems like I would be throwing away my vote and possibly having hillary as our president…shudders

:rofl

remember that shitty avp movie?
“whoever wins, we lose”

The reason I’m voting for Ron Paul is because he is strongly against the Patriot Act and other direct violations of the Constitution, he wants to get out of Iraq immediately, and supports domestic drilling for oil. The Constitution is important to me because it is supposed to dictate how the country is run. The current administration doesn’t seem to car about this “god damn piece of paper” as George W. Bush put it. America being the “world’s cop” is the worst thing we could possibly be doing. We throw billions and billions of dollars into an armed forces system that does not need to be 1/10th the size that it is. I’m just voting for the candidate that matches my opinions the most, even though I strongly disagree with him on some issues (I am for the assault weapons ban and minimum wage increase). I don’t care if he wins or not, at least I’ll know that I voted for who I want. And remember that America is a plutocracy, not a democracy.

Really :wtf

I’ll never vote for someone that doesn’t respect their own country, the least they could do is fake it.

if that is true, it is his right not too put his hand over his heart… there’s no law saying that he has to

no there isnt a law, thats just how you show you take pride in our country, and he clearly does not, not exactly the person I want for president

I’m just saying… there’s probably a lot of murderers out there that put their hands over their heart every time they hear it. If you see not putting his hand over his heart as unamerican, then fine… I just think his positions on the issues are more important.

He said he would be fine with us being in Iraq for “100 years”.

That’s a really scary thought given what we have lost so far. Look at the current situation with educaton/economy/gas prices/rising food costs/etc…

Good post.

He wasnt referring to fighting for 100 years just having troops there, we fought a war in germany in the 40’s and we still have troops there over 60 years later. I think having a PRESENCE there isnt a bad thing, keep those fuckers in line and keep our oil prices down, actually after we win the war we are probably going to take over the oil and use it for ourselves anyways so our presence there is really innevitable, plus we are going to need to set up embassies(sp?) and military bases. Lets face it as a world power we need to have a SLIGHT presence everywhere, that way some little towel fuckers dont get cocky and fly a plane into one of our buildings and kill thousands of innocents. And for the record I am completely against this war, but now that we are there we god damn well better kick some ass and take that oil for ourselves, 4.00 a gallon is weak.

That is the problem. The PRESENCE is what is PISSING them off. They do not want us there and I do not blame them. They hate us. We have no right being in their land.

Keep our oil prices down? We have the MAJORITY of our entire corps there and oil price is at RECORD prices… GWB couldn’t spent a trillion, nearly 7 years, thousands upon thousands of soldiers and couldn’t even get the oil. Such a fuck up.

Are we winning? If we are, not sure why we are “winning” or if we even can “win”.

But, this is one of the reasons why we are hated. The thought that we can police the world. This idea hasn’t done very good for us so far as indicated by this war itself.

If we wanted to “steal” oil, then we should be in Saudi Arabia. Gas prices aren’t going down no matter what because oil companies are enjoying their record profits and the leaders of our nation are enjoying the kickbacks. And for some reason the oil industry appears not to be affected by the monopoly laws that broke up Standard Oil due to the lack of regulation despite only 3-4 major companies controlling 99% of the oil refining in the world. It is not Iraq that is driving gas prices up… it’s the rich executives at the major oil corporations.

Let me ask you this question. What would you do if the Iraqis just suddenly invaded the U.S.? Would you stand there and fire at them with a musket like they did in the Civil War or would you do whatever it takes to get them out of here (IE homemade explosive… etc)? We need to get out of Iraq ASAP. Our presence there is completely unjustified and futile.

Another good post. Good man.

While I agree we shouldn’t be there, we did fuck them up. We need to leave in an educated manner that leaves them/us in a reasonable situation. But, I don’t see that happened nor do I see the pussy Dems pushing towards that. I see some talk but that’s it.

I still wonder why people don’t question these profits with oil companies with the ties we have with people in our Gov’t: GWB, Cheney, etc…

he had a valid excuse to go to Iraq and steal their oil, from a military standpoint I believe we are dominating, from a political standpoint we arent really loosing but we went about it all wrong taking everybody out of power, we should have weeded out all the top leaders that had commited international crimes, we werent present when they attacked us first now were we?

I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again gwb is alot smarter than he lets people think, hes leaving office a real rich motherfucker

I can agree with leaving Iraq in a reasonable situation. However, this war really makes you wonder why we couldn’t but 1/100th of the effort that we have put into Iraq into finding Osama Bin Laden and his accomplices. It makes you question the direct ties GWB and his father as well as other leaders have to the Bin Laden family and the leaders of Saudi Arabia. I wonder if the Bin Laden’s money had anything to do with this… :ponder

Also, no Iraqi or anyone tied to Iraq ever attacked us first to cause this war. The administration used the inflated “patriotism” after 9/11 to attack. I believe the majority of us will never know the true reasons behind the U.S. presence in Iraq.

A valid excuse to go to Iraq and steal their oil? I’d love to hear what reasoning we have to steal any country’s resource.

Also, we invaded Iraq based on “incorrect” information and propaganda pushed off an emotional 9/11. It’s fucking disgraceful.

7 years, nearly 1 trillion dollars spent, ~5K soldiers died, thousands upon thousands of innocent Iraqi citizen deaths, destroyed their entire country, etc… and during all of this our country is going to shit… What have we won again?

He was already rich. Have you heard him speak? “Smart” is not a term I’d use.

killing osama doesnt make a difference, if we kill him some real pissed off towel head will just take his place and probably do somthing rash when he attacks us, bad outweighs the good there, plus hes just hidin up in some cave somewhere embarrassed. I bet if we really wanted to kill him hed be dead tomoro

the senate voted we could go there to find “weapons of mass destruction” and he claimed they were tied with 911 no chance we could have pulled that over any other country, they played their cards well

Because 9/11 was the catalyst for getting us into Iraq which is a perfect location for US presence. Or is GWB that fucking stupid to think Al Queda is over in Iraq? Years ago, the commision to find Bin Ladin was dissolved which is awful because it was the justification for us going over the water.

Agreed to all of this.

There are several different impeachable offenses carried on by the GWB Administration but no one will carry it out.

and what exactly would those be?
