i was under the impression that all r34’s are gt-s and r36’s were gt-r, but ive been wrong before
no such thing as R36…R34s had GT-S, GT-R and Sedan…i believe the current skyline in Japan is refered to as the V35???
oh im thinkin of sumn diff. i think im confusing r32/34 with the engine numbers. they had a sedan? which motor?

Why are they letting an old, obsolete car compete, anyway? I thought the R34 was no longer in production…

thats hot^^^^!!!, how many gerations were there? 3? r32/33/34? and three models? gt-s/gt-r/sedan…and gt-s n sedan have rb25? do i have it right now?
There are 3 generations of the BNR chassis, R32, R33, R34. R32’s are currently legal in Canada, the R33 GTS will be next year. The Skyline line itself was started by Prince Motor Company in 1958 IIRC.
That’s Igor’s (Shucko?) car, Brett, that was the same Skyline that was in the time attack on Redline TV. That Skyline is significant because it is Super Tai-Q 34, there are only 5 or 6 in existance, and that one is the only one to be campaigned in North America.
It will be interesting to finally get a JApanese Supercar into GT. There hasn’t been one since the inaugrial years when there was a Supra and Rx-7 in the Speed Challenge.
there are a a few more like GT4S and other but yea r32s gt-s/sedans had Rb20s i think i n 95 when they started R33s non-GTR models went with the RB25det…technically the original gtr was started in the 60s for Nissan
Hold on, what series in Japan does the R34 partake in?
Would this be the first car that is in the Japan GT Championship and American GT?

They use to be in JGTC…but i think they are phasing them out…
and Boardjnky you can find them…just gotta look…I found a few but again overseas
I don’t see the car being competitive due to the rules of that series. They’re going to ballast the heck out of it.
yeah overseas is a rough situation seeing as all my projects end up on a tight budget, that prolly means a skyline project isnt gonna happen right now. but i will be looking to get a new project going within the next year or two
