i got my ticket for unauthorized speed contest on friday and my appearance date to plead guilty or not guilty is tomorrow at 9 in the morning! wtf i have school tomorrow so idk what to do… am i gonna get introuble if i skip the time and go in later that day like when i get out of school at 12 since albany courts opened til 5? should i just take it to my lawyer or what? im kinda freaking out right now because i dont wanna 1.) lose my license 2.) lose my car 3.) get introuble more then i already am for skipping the court date.
dont skip, they will suspend your lisc. call them explain you have school, and call your lawyer
i called the court today but there closed and my lawyers office is closed too
or, email/call your professor and tell them you have to go to court and ask if there is anything you can do.
I would miss class cause if you miss court you wont have a license to get to class

Court is 3 days after ticket was issued? I’d be concerned. Typically you have time to mail the ticket in instead of going to court?

haha yea well i was planning on pleading not guilty. but ive never had to show up to court before thats why im kinda confused because they usually just get dropped or i just take them to my lawyer and she takes care of everything.

its albany court. my lawyer is good friends with the da so that should help a little bit. yea i thought i got away but then i looked behind me and he was right there. yea im pissed the evo took the turn i was gonna take to get away but then i was like fuck and just kept going straight.
