Import Car Laws To jump From 15 to 25 years???

As a car enthusiast, we get ripped hard in terms of vehicle availability. At least we get better… shit we got nothing on the Americans!

The change to 25 years could happen… Australia had to change their import laws due to pressure from the big Auto manufacturers like Toyota.

There are a lot of great cars available in Japan that we will never be able to experience if the laws are changed. Skylines, Turbo Diesel SUV’s, Kei cars etc are unique driving machines that are in demand by Canadians.

Current imports from Japan ALL have to pass emissions and safety tests here in Ontario.

The only way a car can be driven on the streets is if it’s LEGALLY imported into the country.

Shamefully, that’s the only kind of vehicle that caught my attention in the list… Could you name a few mid-sized turbo-diesel trucks/suvs? :R
