What’s the benefit of the k20 over a 4g63?
they make the same power and the 4g63 has a turbo ? chain vs belt
however closed deck ftw
F20/F22C (s2000) Motors can also handle 600+hp stock
im partial to the ALH
22r carb toyota engine and any b & d series engines
4g63 or s14
K20 for new, S14 for classic
vtc, vtec almost 300cfm stock head and can handle as much power stock as a 4g63
for all around power personally i would go with a 4g54. for relability tho i would go b or k series.
go B series. Why reinvent the wheel?
the 1.3L i believe it is out of the Hayabusa
In your opinion, what is the best turd you’ve taken this week?
this, any liter bike motor…
It’s pit pat! Take it from me, I love you
What’s 300cfm if you don’t make the power though? Same with vtec. When I start to see a series of 10 second, stock internaled k20 motors rolling around, I’ll be changed. When I start to see a bunch of 10 second modded k20 motors around, I’ll be changed.
I do love the s2000 motor though, because I actually see them being fast!
Last I saw, Saxon made as much to the wheels as a stock evo makes, maybe more, na. I think that is really impressive.
the 4g63 is not a great motor, it just happens to have a turbo on it from the factory, low compression and also is cheap.
ok thats great. You’re also comparing a 10second car with AWD to a car with fwd.
In terms of simplicity, I like any 4 cylinder DOHC engine that has a timing chain instead of a stupid belt.
The chevy ecotec is decent, but it is low on power and low on fuel economy, but a good runner.
they make the power all day, its just putting it to the ground
www.k20a.org and go to forced induction and you will see more 500+hp stock blocks than you can count… and thats only one forum
the fact is the swap isnt cheap and untill recently there werent many around
also i believe the k20z3 was one of the top 10 motors of 2009 or something like that?
