Yeah I got a desk facing in towards the atrium, so I can at least be occasionally reminded that there’s an outside world.
I went to a wedding which the groom (a very good friend of mine) works for Ingram. The table I got stuck at was full of the worst people I’ve ever met in my life. Purple and teal shirts everywhere, ties too long and a ton of invicta watches.
it kills me when guys don’t know how to wear a GD tie…
A bright teal shirt is NOT okay. Especially with a white tie.
That’s what happens when the dress code is business casual I suppose…Either that or they just suck.
so glad I don’t work there anymore
yea im barley hanging in there…
Eh it really depends on where you end up. Coming from someone who left and came back, its a pretty good company to work for locally. The health insurance alone is a steal.
Yeah I had all good experiences but my manager really made the job for me.
I still think Ingram is a great company but with the volatility of a lot of their departments I don’t know about making a career there.
Ditto. The new job going well for ya it seems. Excellent.
Mass hire, mass fire.
Don’t know about the company but the building is pretty sweet, was there a few times for Symantec User Group for Netbackup and Backupexec.
Also I know a guy who was working there last i checked, name was Pete Avino, he use to be a network engineer at Clientlogic.
truth…
I have a handful of friends who work here, they seem to like it for the most part
Yea it has alot to do with your team/manager/department
geehee still in market dev or something else? coming up on one year this month for me. i honestly can’t complain too much. ingram has its quirks, but again it comes down to your vendor, team, manager, and what you make of it. seen quite a few people get experience here and then go up the ladder elsewhere (on the tech side).
nope, business dev for AVAD.
