It’s a Alpine IDA-X303 and I have the wiring harness to install and it doenst work.
I think it’s not powering on because of the power wire shown in the picture (with red tape around it) but there is no where to plug into the back of my headunit… here are some pics to help. Any ideas??
Red wire looks like the antenna not a power wire.
Oh ok you could be right. I was confused because my celica has a power like that and antenna one.
Would that be needed to install at all?
Agreed, powered wire should just be a solid red 14 gauge or whatever normal size wire. Also check your ground.
No, but look around for a random ground wire that’s not part of your harness. The ground wire may be screwed into the stock unit and separate from any harness. You’d need to wire that in and chassis ground it.
But I don’t know for sure how it is on a Pathfinder.

nissans use a common ground. so if there isnt one in the harness just make one and it should work. and you need a antenna adapter to get that to plug into the back of your head unit
