Insurance cost for a 240sx?

Currently, Im driving a 01’ Celica GTS…Im paying $280/mth. However, Im planning to buy a 240sx and get rid of my gts.

Do you think I will end up paying more than the rate I am paying right now?

Im 23, G licensed, had 5 yrs of driving exp…

Btw, Im new in here…hello everyone! =]

Same Stats…

23 YO
G License
5 Years Official Insurance Years

$237 / Month

$237 … thats much better…
I guess few of my tickets still haunting me…that’s why…stupid popo…

So I assumed I will get around the same rate as Im paying right now even I really switch to a 240sx?

Probably a tiny bit less than you’re paying now, depending on your insurance co’s weight upon car type vs. driving history etc.

And welcome to the club! You should hit up the new members section.

Same stats as both 23 year olds above.

$133/month, primary driver.

but then again, I don’t live in T.O. Ahahahahahhaha.

The one advantage to living in the boonies.

Before i got my G it was 527/month which was because of points on my licence. I got my G In Sept and my Insurance went down to $298/month which is a crazy drop… but im happy, ill be 20 in 2 weeks.

I guess I gotta shop around on my new insurance policy then. It sounds like my current rate isn’t cheap at all.

Which insurance company you guys are having right now? Any suggestions?

As well, I did hit up the noob section, lol…nice to meet ya all

I am 23 years

$155 a month, in my name

$155?! Are you living in TO? Any tickets? Which company?
Thanks

I live in burlington, and i got a $330 ticket for speeding and 4 points off, a $330 ticket for reckless driving and 6 points off, i don’t know how i get it for this cheep.

26, full G, no accidents, couple parking tickets.

Paying 95/months as a pleasure vehicle.
