insurance!!!!!!!!!!

hey thanks for the info geico looks the cheapest. i miss being on the parents insurance!!! yea idk im really looking for an 08 or 07 so insurance will be expensive but im taking a defensive driving course to drop it a little more.

true. i forgot about that. i got so pwnt yo! :confused

new sentra is ugly 2002 sentra Spec V only

My first car in my name, a 1995 325IS Insured with full comp/collision $500/$500/$0 glass deductible was $53x.xx a month for one full 6 month term, then it went down to $36x.xx a month…all through AIG, then I got eSurance which I have now, and pay ~$270 a month.

Does it really go down at 21?

I got my license at 18. Long story.

Semir, get yourself an Audi, they dont rust ;D

DeLoreans and Corvettes don’t rust…unlike Audis…

older Saabs have fiberglass bodies, those are hard to find though

two cars with collision for less than $100 a month through Allstate.

I think I have some discount since my home insurance is through them too, but it’s still a damn good deal.

My Crx used to cost me more to insure for 6 months then two motorcycles for a year. Go figure :confused

i think the new se-r’s are pretty sweet! the rims look cool, its got some giddy-up…

my mom’s got an 08 value edition sentra… its a pretty good car, no issues with it, rides nice, gets great mpg’s too…i think the last time she checked it was around 32-33 city and some highway… she’s got close to 4k on it now, mpg’s improved drastically after the first oil change…

oh, i don’t see a need for full coverage on a 92 240 :confusedsx

value at 3500 in MINT condition… i gave ya the benefit of the doubt :nod

I dont find the new ones visually appealing. Even that yellow one, with the hop ups doesnt look that good to me.

Insurance being high on Honda’s has nothing to do with it being a “sportscar”. It has to so with the fact that Honda has several models on the Top 10 list of cars to most likely be stolen. I worked in the Insurance industry for quite some time so I know what i’m talking about. When I was 18-19, I took all the courses and did all the things I possibly could to lower my rates. Right now im only paying $1200/yr for FULL coverage on the VR4 and bike.

It sucks getting insurance at a young age but the rates in that age group are there for a reason.

good point right there! a thieve’s choice car is definitely gonna be more $$$, fast or slow

I’m not all about the Volvos in general, but this looks nice

Im 26 and Im paying $156 a month for my '05 Hyundai Elantra (full coverage) and my '92 Ford Mustang (comprehensive) thru Kemper. The Mustang is only about $500 a year because its my second vehicle on the policy.
I saved money by switching from Progressive (same agent) and I had looked all over before going with Progressive and at the time it was cheaper. I was 21 when I got my own insurance.

My insurance went down a bit in the past year due to me being over 25 now.

My license and driving record are spotless- no accidents or tickets.

BTW- the original poster isnt Semir. He’s Captain Morgan.

i thought that IS Semir, no?

same deal as me i didnt get my license till i was 18… ::slight_smile: and no mine didnt go down at 21 :headbang but it went down 40 dollars a month when i got married :wtf you would think when a dude gets married they would raise that shit knowing he will either murder the bitch or commit suicide LOL… im still paying 222 a month.

Yes - in NY, you have 5 years driving experience (theoretically). Therefore, you’re a more responsible driver. However, 21 also means your DWI chances go up much higher, so :confused

Me too ::slight_smile:

Ok so that makes more sense, it goes down when you have 5 years experience, and at 25?

so 23/25 for us. yipee!

only 2 more years :shifty :sad

It’s not 5 years experience necessarily - in NY, you can get your learners permit @ 16, so at age 21, you “have 5 years driving experience” in the insurance companies eyes. As for the 25, I believe that’s just before you “have 10 years driving experience”
