Very inspirational. This is actually the first ive ever heard or seen an RB series engine swapped into a 300zx chassis. Cant wait to see how this turns out!
ahh, thought it was a shop car that belonged to you guys
hacknik, head over to gtrc and check out the one guys rb26 300zx build, that thing is unreal
and ant, im just gunna throw out a random answer, (i really am not sure) but maybe cuz its easier to make power, and the customer might have had the n/a vg in there
instead of swapping in a vg-tt, its cheaper to buy an rb25 set.
more aftermarket suport for the rb too maybe, who knows
i didnt look at the pics of the vg coming out so i dont know if its tt or na and am too lazy to check now haha
actually vg’s are cheaper usually, and a vg makes power just as easily, possibly aftermarket support but there is plenty of vg love too. i guess cheaper used stuff is more plentiful.
the only reason for doing this is to be specail and possibly easier to work on in the car vg’s suck nads to work on in the car.
it’s better than na/ but other than that it’s just different
