I have a 90’ 300zx with a stock VG30DE in it and I am going back and forth between swapping in the VG30DETT or possibly an RB series (preferably RB25).
My question is, has anyone seen it done?
If so how did it preform and what modifications are needed to make it run?

i would just like the add the vg30 is bigger and sits farther back in the engine bay for better weight distribution, also parts are my readily available, than say an rb25. either way good luck with the conversion

Yeah, its been done. I’d go with the TT swap.
It will save time and money. I pretty sure a RB25 at 300hp would cost way more than the TT swap (already 300hp if I’m not mistaken).

Just my two cents.
These boys are dreaming anyways, I would have to call these topics a waste of time, seeing how I know for certain you DO NOT have the money or experience to do this.
