intense s15

car looks good man, fitment of the seams looks pretty close too.

i’m not talking about keeping it bone stock, the new saftey guidlines on imports, ie “riced out cars” is to look for DOT or ece approved headlamps, tail lamps and as1 windsheilds. This will be in effect by the end of te summer here. This is not a technicallity.

I’m not saying do not do the swap i always liked the look of it, i’m saying if you go to sell it warn the buyer that it MAY possibly not pass saftey due to the headlights not passing DOT.

This is also an issue in city’s like Kitchener/Waterloo where they do a blitz on the import cars once a week and pull there plates for safety reason.

good looking car tho.

I’m not the hugest fan of the wheels…but hey whatever…because the rest of the car looks very well thought out and totally clean. :thumright:

^he is changing them.

WTF is an AS1 windshield? Is that like plexiglass or something?

I would assume it is an approval rating just like DOT.

As far as the car goes…not my cup of tea…front looks like a snow plow

baaarf

i saw you at cscs lastyear running solid 14.3s

the car is fine, just needs real wheels

one piece, taiwanese, poor-casted FTL

the car looks great … u need sideskirts to match the front bumper tho… cuz its just not looking nice without it haha… the rims are ok but yaeh ur changin them… gj with ur car… and have fun

the car needs an s14 front end, besides that it looks aight

well executed Justin. clean fender lines all around. looking forward to seeing how it performs next to my T3075 on the FC…

looks much better without a wing… too

to each is there own, ya fastest run last year was a 13.8 on stock sr swap.

OOh buba i wanna lick her all over :wackit:

my baby is comeing out this weekend i think its a lil urly but i have too now my truck is a paper weight in my driveway till i get the head gaskitt fixed i cant wait to leave some signiturs on the pavement with ya justin ill swing by with her next sunday:)

thats debatable, by the end of the summer Ontario will have the same standards as the rest of the country, and because japanese headlights are iki and not ece or DOT they are “illegal”

if you ever try to sell the car with the headlights on it under the new inspection rules that are comming into place you will be foreced to replace the headlights with DOT approved unit.

Manitoba, BC and i belive alberta have already adopted this policy on saftey checks.[/quote]

why arent the IKI lights legal ? whats wrong with them ? who the fuck cares anyways theyr just lights ? are they any better than dot ?

they’re not safe…simpew as that. The government relizes the cutoffs are wrong. ALL new imports (skylines) imported out west and will have to have some sort of DOT headlight retrofitted in place of the stock units.

anyways, somone asked if it was legal and technically it is not.

thanks ryan, im hoping myn will be running by this weekend to, so we may have to go for a cruise.
