Interior lights.

Well… after just getting my 240 I decided to tackle the deck because the cd deck that was in it wasnt working right. For some reason there was a CD deck and a tape deck… I took them both out and the harness for the cd deck was all hooked up accept for the speaker wires.

Anyway, long story short… I ripped both the CD and the Tape deck out… and there was this old school unit also there… I’m pretty sure it was a voltage converter… or something like it. I tried to hook the cd deck up alone without the tape deck or the voltage converter… but I f’d up and totally forgot what wires I ripped off of what. And at the time I didnt have internet to come look it up.

I ended up hooking the wrong wires up… and I noticed that the time on my dash had been reset, and when I opened my door my light didnt come on.

Is it possible that I shorted something out? or will it fix itself after I re-hook up a different CD deck?

Also… does anyone wanna tell me what the dark blue wire is that seems to be coming from the firewall… all by itself?

Any help would be appreciated… thanks.

I got it sorted…

I must have shorted the 12v power when I was ripping out my CD deck and it blew a fuse for the clock and the int. lights.
