no i dont have another router to try and i have not tried hardwiring both. we are downloading a big file on the wireless computer via torrent but that should not effect how other computers run right?

when im uploading a ton over torrent my other roommates cant even browse the internet
upload rate is around 30-40kbps average but its sometimes higher. we are only going to download it at night so it dont slow up anything
but when i would stop/pause the download the wired computer would still be slow until i disabled the wireless card
yeah 40kb/s will kill everyone elses ability to surf the web. u should cap it at 20
