i notice you mention a nitrous pressure gauge. does it have a nitrous system installed?
just make sure you check the frame closely for rot. stab them with a screw driver or something all long the bottom and sides (inner side near the exhaust especially). also check the floor under the drivers feet.
other than that most other things are pretty easy to fix. worse case to pass safety you might need balljoints, some various bulbs, etc.
bushings might be shot, but also an easy fix. (talk to Bing)

my name is Richard i’m from manitoba. i know this is a SON forum, but this is the only cool 240 forum i could find!!! i’ve been all over asking ? and try’n to get advice, but i’ve gotten no where. on here it’s different. thanks guys!
i’m 22 i’ve owned my 240 for a year and half now. i love it, will not buy another car, well maybe another 240!! it’s nothing speacail. ka24e, putting some upgrades and new parts on it. i got into a fender bender in edmonton, auto pac is gonna fix that one! soon, but it’s still broken. the head gasket blew in her, the front struts dont move, and the clutch is having some problems. i’ve bought the following.
10lb flywheel & stage 1 clutch(320$), automatice ecu(40$ no speed limiter!!), header(160$), exhaust(made myself), adj sprngs(70$ all 4) i just bought on ebay, they don’t look exactly like that!! new timing set(60$), race head gasket and all other gaskets on top end(80$), cold air(150), all this i got on ebay for a very big fraction of the price. compared to my local napa autoparts.
(the cold air and header got them on ebay havn’t installed)
it’s kinda old, when i get a new one i’ll replace.
i asked the guy if it would fit on my car he said yes.i made sure to tell him which motor i have. if it doesn’t fit, it’ll be going back! same with the cold air, i asked if it would fit, and they said yes. there’s suppose to know this shit, so they better not be bluffing me! i’m gonna lookinto it. i havn’t paid for the header yet, pay day is friday! so if it wont fit i’m gonna have to buy a different one. i’m gonna reask them about the cold air intake. they said it would fit. but i guess we will see.
lol, yes i do, it got me through the rough times in my life, it helps my back pain and when i can’t sleep. no harm in it, it grows wild so god must have put it here for a reason!!!
i got a reply about the air intake and it will fit for sure! not sure about the header yet, waiting reply
Hey, My names Stephen(Steven), Originally from Woodstock, but atm I’m living in wallaceburg, next to chatham, Im 17. I currently do not own a car, but I’m looking into getting a Nissan 240sx, I have had my eye on those since I was prob 14. I’m looking for a cheap one right now that needs work done, I plan on fixing it up and adding my own modifications to it, Kind of a summer project with me and my dad. So yeah any tips or advice you wanna share, let me know Ill post the pic of the car when I find one. and after pics when its finished.
