I understand that people dislike Comcast for several good reasons, but some of these people I am talking to today are really getting on my nerves, I just want to reach through the phone and slap the shit out of them. dont call and bitch to me about your cable service, when your retarded ass doesn’t know how to put your tv on channel three, or you dont realize that the cable box is not powered on. dont bitch to me that you had to go out and buy a brand new HD TV, because you were a moron and thought that digital is the same as high definition, and now you dont know how to hook it up. When I tell you to unplug the power to the box, since when does the power cord = every other line behind your tv except for the one that send power to the box, power cords have been the same for the past 100 years. And dont call and bitch about our cable prices when you took it upon yourself to order $250 worth of porn, and then tried to tell me that “no one in this house orders porn” You know your husband is ordering that shit after you go to sleep, and then when you get the bill you say, " i swear, i never ordered Big Booties 6, or Hot Asian Asses 3, you need to call them and complain"
I know it shouldn’t bother me…and normally it doesn’t, just today people are extra stupid today and on my nerves…im glad I have the day off tomorrow. On top of that, we just had a meeting that we aren’t allowed to offer free installations to anyone starting April 1st, so thats going to give more people a reason to bitch. Before, the only way to get some people to upgrade was to throw in free installation, now they are eliminating those codes, so we cant anymore. So if someone signs up for a bundle package, its going to automatically cost $95.60 to install them, unless they take a Self Install Kit for the internet, then you can knock $49.00 off that price…thats going to hurt my sales a good bit im sure, so that makes me unhappy…maybe I do need to change my tampon…lol
wow…no free installation…fuck that. I know what pisses me off about my provider is if let say my satellite comes loose b/c the good tech installed it wrong…I have to pay a $50 service fee to have them fix it…is your place that beat>?
no, we wont charge for that…but if its a inside wiring issue, then they will charge 24.95, if its equipment or anything outside of the house, then there is no charge. If you have the service protection plan, they usually wont charge one at all.
as far as the technical issues, its just as frustrating for the customer cause they obviously dont knwo what they are doing. All the HD digital shit confused the fuck outta me when in search for my new tv. i can’t even imagine how it is for an older person who it totally dumb to technology. compared to the old system its way more complicated. the old system, run cable to box, run box to tv… turn on! its not that simple anymore. customer service isn’t difficult you just gotta make them think you are on their side… like you infultrated the evil empire of company x just so you can help them out. make it seem like you did them a favor when you really are infact doing ur job.
