the X didnt kill her, her allergic reaction to it killed her. And human life is not lost by his actions. He sold her the drug. She could have taken it, not taken it, done whatever she wanted with it. She new it was illegal, she knew it was dangerous. She put it into her body, she’s from Bell Acres, so her rich idiot friends were to scared to get her help, and she died. Not the drug dealers fault in the least. He sold 3 X pills, all 3 were taken, only 1 girl died. I
I’m glad some people have enough sense to realize the truth.
Let’s talk about the reason the law is put there: It’s put in place so people stop peddling drugs as a hobby or as a dealer… Using drugs is your own choice, but if you decide to deal drugs and yes he was “dealing” drugs then you better be aware of the consequences. It’s used as a deterant to drug dealers, if you know that X is a highly unpredictable drug that can kill you should not be taking or dealing it. If you guys consider him not “punking” out by cooperating and giving up his dealer well then he’s going to get the brunt of the charges and should face that. If he didn’t know what charges he was facing then shame on him. I don’t feel sorry for him, he made a decision and now is facing the consquences of that decisions, that’s life. Unfortunately this choice he made to sell drugs caused another person to make a choice that ended their life.
It’s ashame that people still need to find ways to enhance their life through drugs, although I do drink and technically it is a drug it’s not what I would consider a heavy drug such as X, cocaine, etc, etc. Hopefully at least one of these days our technical/medical abilities will allow people a safe high and we won’t have these kind of problems. Unfortunately though I doubt that will happen.
The same can be said about your friend though:
Did he know it was illegal to sell drugs?
Did he know he could be held liable if someone died taking drugs he sold?
I’m sorry it’s your friend but he should of been aware of the consquences his actions and what could come of them.
I’m sure he was fully aware of the potential dangers as were they girls taking it. Sometimes terrible things happen to good people. This being the case for both Greg and Brandi. Its obvious Greg never wanted her to die. He didn’t sell anything maliciously. It’s just a matter of someone wanting to shift the blame (mostly brandi’s family). I agree he should get the blame for dealing the drugs. Thats a fact. It happened. But blame for her death is just a way for her family to get some relief. They (and apparently other people around) don’t want to accept the fact that SHE took the pill. She made the decision to eat it. That was where the blame lies. As I said before, the mother at the house is more directly involved in her death than Greg. Don’t forget also, that he didn’t sell it to her, but to her friends. Then her friends gave it to her. That is the actual drug deal thats directly linked to her.
And for those of you who immediately bash Greg for his actions in one situation - piss on you. He’s a better person that some of you on here (from what I can tell from the ‘online’ personalities at least) and would never wish for this to happen to anyone. He has been through trendous heartache and depression over this. I stand behind him 100% in hopes he gets treated fairly and with some common sense. Thanks.
yeah… it’s a tough one… i mean the girl is dead… there is no turn around, no counseling no classes to fix that… so someone’s responcable…
at the same time, the guy sold it to a girl that took it with her friends and her friend died… NOT the girl he directly sold it to… so there’s a small loophole… ontop of the fact that she didn’t drop dead @ teh concert or in a car… she was sick and needed help for hours laying a house with people watching her die.
what in the fucking world went through the ‘mothers’ head? if i saw a young girl laying on the ground lifeless, i don’t give a fuck what my daughter says, i’m calling 911. why didn’t she do this? is she being charged with anything? her stupid ass should go to jail for letting that girl die at her house.
i think the dealer should get hit with dealing charges… even if he’s not a ‘dealer’ he still supplied… the girls that bought it should get it for buying drugs… the mother should get it for being an ass and watching a young girl die (also the fact that the girl wasn’t 18 and the mother was the temp ‘gaurdian’)
im sick of everyone in this country trying to blame everyone else for their own actions. If the girl wouldnt have taken the pill, put it in her mouth, and swallowed it, she’d be alive. Her friends failed her miserably by not getting her the help she needed, but its still 100% on her. Im not gonna sit here and call her stupid for doing it. Im sure everyone on here has something they’ve done at one point or another that could have easily got them killed, so try not to be too judgemental. Ive had friends need a pinch, and given them a little bit, but to think that if they went out and wrecked their car and were killed when they were smoking a joint would hold me liable for their deaths is retarded.
this is isn’t a case thou of some ass at mcd’s spilling coffe in their lap. this is criminal activity upon criminal activity.
The only criminal act Greg was involved with was the sale and distrobution of a controlled substance.
yeah but as far as the law goes he’s going down for his actions and the consequences. It don’t matter what we think, if its BS or justified.
which according to the law holds him responsidle for the condition of the people he sold the drugs to. It might not be right, but I agree with the usage of the law as a way to deter drug dealers.
Don’t forget he didn’t sell them to Brandi. He sold them to her friend, who in turn gave it to her. The people who he directly sold to are perfectly fine.
right so there is the loophole, she technically probably resold the pills… so who is exactly responsible?
He already said that the only reason charges weren’t brought on her friend is because she told the authorities who sold them to her.
Good drug dealers? :wtf:
It is always easier to point fingers at someone else. That is the way most laws work. Buy the ticket, take the ride. She shouldnt have taken an illegal substace that is known to be dangerous for your health. Is the guy being charged the fuckin FDA??? Did he run tests on every pill sold and promise they were safe to use??? There is no logic in this. If I sell someone a gun and they blow their fucking head off then am I the one to blame? The mother is the only one who should be charged since I guaruntee the girl would have lived if she had received medical help. She probably died from dehydration from puking so much and since extacy dehydrates you.
I only remember what I took in school so you probably know more than me. I do know that this law is not only for bartenders though. I was just trying to use it as an example to explain how they may find loopholes to nail him with it. :hs:
yes. Good drug dealers. Im sure you know a few. Whether you know it or not.
I love how people always put blame on someone else.
DRUGS ARE BAD. THEY ARE ILLEGAL. DRUGS CAN KILL
We learned this shit in Elementary school. Its her own fault she died.
