Is this an automotive first?

Has there ever been another company that has made this many iterations of the same vehicle as GM has with the trailblazer?

Saab 9-7x
GMC Envoy
Saturn Outlook
Pontiac Torrent
Buick Rainier
Chevy Trailblazer
Oldsmobile Bravada

I swear they are all the same. I’ve driven every one minus the Outlook and it blows my mind. Are they all the same platform?

Do the Hummer H3 and Caddy SRX fit in there too?

oh god

i am going to agree with u on the H3 and SRX…and GM wonders y they sell a tond of cars…they have 6 of everything…its used to be alot worse…atleast some of them are more diverse than they used to be from the car in same classes (ie Sunfire, Cavalier, SC2 or Cutlass, Malibu, Alero,)

i thought teh torrent was based on the vue/equinox thing?

ur right

Is the Saturn based off of that as well?

yea the VUE

No.

Acadia/Outlook/Enclave = Lambda
CrapBlazer/Suckvoy/Yuckvada/9-7x/Ascender…oh how did I forget the Rainier…YUM = GMT360 = deathtraps
Equixnox/Torrent/VUE/New XL-7 = Theta

Well they sure fooled me.

I hope you looked that up and don’t just know it off the top of your head.

What about the H3?

I like the look of the Saab but I know deep down its just a Trailblazer.

I think the H3 is based on the Canyon and the SRX is sigma. Ergo, CTS/STS.

haha, i saw that corey had posted and i knew the platforms would be named

Right on the SRX, the H3 is based on the GMT 360 chassis just like the H2 is based on the Suburban. Although it uses the same basic frame its is a totally different animal. The body, powertrain and suspension (tuning and attachment points) are all unique.

One more. Thanks Goober, I knew there was another but couldnt find it because I thought it was a Mistubishi.

WTF is that?

Isuzu Ascender

I had a Trailblazer for a few months and I have to admit I was impressed withthe performance and drivability of the truck. It rode well, handled well, and was a lot of fun to drive. I liked it a lot aside from the horrendous interior styling, materials, and finish.

Vue/equinox/torrent/

I know what your saying Onyx, I was shotgun in a camaro once and it was almost identicle to a firebird. I was like, WTF?

lol
