I kind of see where you’re going with that, I always wondered that too. What if someone took a 7k redline down to 6k after doing a turbo swap, that would mean obviously more power, as long as the person doesn’t go under the engine peak hp & lbs ranges. That would be kind of nice only if it really does work in terms of not effecting performance and engine parts being slowly weakened.
On the contrary
I know that street bike engines are made for high revving but that’s only because the parts are durable and made to perform at high temperature and revs & obviously that’s due to the actual purpose of that street bike. Although, I have had my previous bikes in shops for burnt pistons & rings, so I think wearing out is inevitable when it comes to high rpm engine rev’s.
