Do not beat on it please
Make sure you get the kinks out
oh God, you have that gigantic wing on it don’t you

thats kcuvs
too scared to beat on it…plus i have to learn to drive it all over again, last time i drove a stick was when i took it off the road last august, and even then the clutch was so fried that it would slip everywhere with only the 222hp the na motor had…plus i dont wanna fuck it up, i am babying it for a long while…dont worry…
and yes, the wing is on there…and i would take it off, but its molded to the hatch, and no way am i gonna pay to have it taken off, replaced with a stock tt wing, and repaint the hatch, just to get rid of the wing…i’m saving up, and when i have enough money for a new paint job which is on my list…i will also do the 1994+ stock tt wing…i think its the one josh has, and i also wanna do the JSpec front bumper…JDM4L
lol that made me chuckle for some reason
The wing has to go. Irregardles of the price.
It’s a wing with a car attached to it.
God’s little handlebar lol
dibs on first race of the NA
its bad.
but it will add to the rice effect… so it might net you more races, cause a normal person wouldn’t do that to a TT
once again andy congrats on getting it running…i will add a big  to the wing but hey just enjoy that its on the road. let me know if your gonna have it out wed night i wanna check it out
you’ve yet to begin your descent into JDM land…patience young skywalker…
dont get a stock TT wing…i think it kinda ruins the swap…u basically just ahve a TT Z then…without it, it confuses people when they get spanked and hear a BOV…if uhave to get one tho…get that JDM TT wing…never seen one on a Z around here…they all have it in japan just about to add to ur “im mad JDM yo” look…and u can find them on ebay everyday
*edit : congrats on it moving
awesome to hear its up and running
you damn ricers
put your money into go fast and stability parts
…althought the jdm front bumper is hot
Congrats
Stock Injectors MAX = 15psi
Stock Intercooler MAX efficiency = 18psi
Don’t go boosting this car until that pump is in. You might want a TT fuel controller as well:
Controller Differences:
TT
IDLE: 6V
MID-LOAD: 7V
HIGH-LOAD: 12V (battery voltage)
NA
IDLE: 8V
MID-LOAD: 12V(battery voltage)
HIGH-LOAD: 12V(battery voltage)
Guapo Says;
The difference is that the NA doesn’t have a mid-throttle voltage … it simply sends 12v. You’ll just see more voltage at mid throttle. There is a little bit more pump noise, and pump life may be somewhat diminished, but otherwise works fine. I am running a TT pump on an NA controller and it is fine.
But…
Ash Says;
The varying pump speeds ARE important. Many have found that after upgrading their fuel systems, they cannot get their fuel pressure down to the 35psi at idle that it should be at, and despite their attempts to turn the regulator all the way down or to replace it alltogehter, the fuel pressure is still too high at idle. What is happening in these cases is they are simply overrunning the regulator - the regulator cannot bypass enough fuel to lower the rail pressure any further AND/OR the return line is insufficient to carry the volume of return fuel, resulting in uncontrollably higher rail pressures. Without the varying pump voltage (which directly controls the pumps output), you WILL overrun the regulator and return line’s capability. For this fact, it is vital that the 3-speed control is maintained when upgrading the fuel system in order to properly and smoothly control fuel pressures. On the same token, you would not want to use an NA EFI harness in a TT as it will be missing this additional line to the controller.
So the choice is yours.
I don’t know about the exact PSI for a stock AUTO TT motor / ECU setup, but HERE is a list of most of the AUTO / MANUAL MOTOR DIFFERENCES
^^^ i love josh’s Z knowledge
Josh knows what’s up -
Do your research before you blow your motor up.
I do know that VCT errr whatever Nissan’s VTEC acrynomn is… Will not work without the transmission ECU/contorller… Just a personal experience I had with one, before the internet so I never did to much research on it.
Are you getting a ticking sound during idle/ light reving? Say like a kid with a baseball card stuck in the spokes of his bike wheel?
oh no…not good…
