it's official

gen 3,4 GM motors ftw. There are a lot of options other than the LS1. Depends on how much power you want to make.

sooooooooo, no 1.8T?

:lol

What did you do to the stock spinneraetor? Want to sell the core motor(no accessories/manifolds/turbos/etc)??? Just cases/rotors/eccentric???

lsONE

No need for rear. Just needs longblock, harness, ecu, and trans

elliot I know someone with a perfect donor car, running driving bone stock 98 ls1 cameo. 4k i think is what he wants for the whole car. You could prob get most of your money back parting it out.

oil cooler line started to leak. car ran out of oil quickly. and yea i’m gonna sell off the motor/tranny/everything i don’t need for the swap.

that would be perfect, if i had another 3k to drop right now. i also need to figure out if my sentra will run so i have a way to get around.

so your not gay?

:lol

What are friends for huh!

GL with the build buddy… if you need any shit made or need a hand hit me up!

Ls1 rx-7=greatness, didn’t you have an mr2?

Im’ telling you Elliot get a 1jz with an R154 hell if you want to do it super cheap get a 1jz with a w58. You can buy 1j’s for $800 you can buy older w58s for $200. Twins can go up to 400hp with very little bolt-ons or tuning.

Be realistic. 1jz is cheaper and easier to swap and maintain than an LS1 would ever be and is made for drifting. People who drift LS1s have oiling issues right off the bat and usually blow their first one up within the first season. people with 1jzs fry their japanese ecus and replace their harmonic damper all of which might cost another $300 and then keep drifting for the next 3 years

LSx is going to be way cheaper. Look forward to seeing what happens with this E.

Dude fix the oil issues before you swap it in!

I don’t see any oiling issues with the LSx motor? Some of the pans are better than others, but they will all take an extra quart of oil without issue and people actually recommend it for doing autoX and things of the sort.

LSx motor hands down. This should not be a question even.

I guess with drifting you need to run a pan thats baffled well and need an accumulator setup.

RB26/28 or a quad rotor not a choice? DAMN!
LS series motor, i guess.

4g63 swap. seriously.

Shit would be bad ass
