Ive been at work all day and havent had a chance to check into everything US wise. Whats the damage that happened in Hawaii
No significant damage in the US.
Worries about the nuclear plants in Japan, they are going to release some radiation because pressure is building and their cooling systems are not working.
fuck! i think death count will be in the hundreds or thousands. it will be hard to say, how many bodies have been washed out or are still in buildings that are floating?
i think japan is much more educated on tsunamis and earth quakes then say Thailand, plus they had warnings.
i dunno next year when you see freshly imported JDM vehicles going for insanely cheap, start looking for water damage…
that last video was unreal, taking out everything.
Sad, hopefully the relief efforts are adequate and it turns out not as bad as it looks.
I see all these cars floating down the road/tsunami and their is only one thing I can think of. the Carfax commercial. FOR SALE: 2001 4dr. sdn. Slight Water Damage… (deletes typing) New Upholstery

The second video looks like a scene from a disaster flick. I mean it literally looks unreal…
This brings up a question. Do you think the big news stations should be showing more raw video like what I posted, or continue with their watered down stuff where any time the wave gets close to a house or cars they pan away? I realize those cars and houses probably have people in them but I think showing what’s really happening helps motivate the relief effort more than making the world think these waves are just gently rolling over farmland.
I think news should be shown as news is. With material being previewed and proper warning preceding.
I think the internet is really desensitizing people to everything. Hopefully in the future we see less censorship and more true-life stuff.
My heart goes out to the residents of Sendai.

I guess there was damage in OR and CA (boats sunk, docks gone, etc) and at least one person swept out to sea.
That one person was either very unfortunate or a complete idiot.
Probably one of the idiots I saw on the news standing at the water’s edge minutes before the tsunami was supposed to hit. I’m sorry, but everyone in the US had plenty of time to GTFO of the way.
^^I am thinking the latter since he was taking pictures of the waves. lol
Honestly, I was thinking the same thing. We got so many cars from Nawlins what with a different branding system. We’ll def. see jap flood cars next year as a result of this.
Now, THAT would be an obituary
WOW. Absolutely unreal.
Here in san diego there were ton’s of people at the beach this morning waiting for the wave lol… the “og” surfers have been out since dawn!!!
Another day at the office in so cal
