SO FAR THEY ARE REALLY MISSING THE BOAT ON THE NAME PLATES ARENT THEY :bloated:
Lost a snail and gained 2 lungs halfway though, but still small sporty FWD Coups.
Supras
EVO
somthin struck a nerve eh but yea, i’d say the only import that really isn’t badged correctly is a majority of se-r models from nissan…besides the b13 the rest are “imposters”
BECAUSE I AM SICK OF PEOPLE WHO DONT KNOW WTF THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT POSTING ON AN AUTOMOTIVE FORUM AS IF THEY DO.
LEARN YOU HISTORY IF YOU WANT TO TRY TO MAKE POSTS RELEVANT TO KNOWING WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.
lol
Good post A++++ would read again!!
Cool to see the evolution of all these whips one after another though
Yeah…I figured its really a close call as compared to The original Impalas, Monte Carlos, Malibus.
Just like purple is on par with lime green
case and point…
Like putting the 2000GT into the Supra/Celica lineage…
Featured in a contemporary James Bond film, the 2000GT, with its DOHC inline-6, would later become the inspiration for the Supra (the 2000GT name was also used on later Japanese Celicas and Supras)
You missed 5 years of the Z-car, the 280 ZXs.
Such a perfectionist…it was a general style lineup of major body changes through the years.
so :cjerk: me hard and I will like it
i thought japan had no 3rd gen eclipse, and our new fourth gen is their third gen?
ANNNDDD…
Starion/conquest
Mitsu ended the starions to make way for…
The ZX cars were a major change…
The 280ZX was a complete redesign, retaining only the L28 engine and other driveline components from the 280Z.
For example, the rear suspension was completely different it went from a lower wishbone to a semi trailing arm.
I guess one could argue that the C5 and C6 are the same car too :roll2:
I’m not a perfectionist, but I do agree with this statement…
91-93 gen 1 3000GT vr-4
94-98 gen 2 3000GT vr-4
99 Gen 3 3000GT VR4
oh…heres the Honda S over the years (in one animated pic)
You are not worth arguing with because you think that you are an eliteist so in closing my end of it.
I was not referring to driveline/suspension…the only things that matter on a vehicle to you…but more the overall look of the car maintaining its original name plate.
So before you come up with some more witty internet copy and past facts…please try to wrap you driver oriented brain around the intention of this thread.
But I suppose if you have nothing else to do this winter then copy and paste facts to prove you have more time on your hands then the rest of the board…carry on.
Sorry, I will stop with the coping and pasting of words and just keep it to image properties and attach [img] tags to it…
I forget how important looks are.
