my speed cut is removed and i pull past 180 pretty easily but i dont know how fast i go after that. i dont think 240 would be unatainable with a stock ka. just gotta cut the 5th gear rev limiter.
I was looking for one of those speedometers that go up to 240km’s/h but the prices were stupid. I will probably buy one from someone around spring if I find one for a good price.
Buy one when your motor can hit 240km/h.

so yeah uhm, im sincerely curious because like antonio I’ve never been in a KA powered car without a speed cut. What is the top DRAG limited speed of a stock KA?
I know that a good running KA pulls decently until speed cut so I’m pretty sure you would see the 215-220km/h mark. Although, now that I’ve got a GPS speedo I realize how absolutely garbage the speedo’s are in these cars. If anyone wants to do this and use my gps speedo let me know. It logs too so there will be no lying

Problem with the HUD is that it only goes to 199km/hr whereas you can get an analog Euro/JDM speedo that goes up to 240km/hr. Regardless, most people speedometers are inaccurate, however I lean towards tire sizing as the main factor for this.
How much are the speedometers off? I’ve read at 60kmh or so that most speedometers average about 3-7kmh off.
my hatch has a digital cluster, hud and a hud window, and no matter what in a 240…when you hit anyhting really above 110+ your not goign the rite speed that it says.
i think my old needle one when i was doing 130 i was over 14km, that was beside a new civic with the digital tach lol
my speedo tells me i m going 180 when i going 125. LOL, first time my friend saw that he actually believed it, i was in 5th gear at like 3k rpms.
