Nowadays there are static flight lines which means even if there is a collision or engine failure they won’t give you a ride to the morgue in a sponge.

…But the chances of something bad happening at an airshow are fairly low. Passenger jets crash and kill hundreds of people at a time, why do people still fly? I’m sure we’ve all seen pictures of horrific car crashes, and we still drive. I wouldn’t not go to an airshow because of this.
