job offer is it worth it ?

basically i got a job offer to move to houston, texas but for only a minimal raise. But its a better place to work more prestigious, better job title. BUt only a 5% increase in salary which is really like a typical yearly raise you get… Job offers are on the low side so i dont know wether to take it and stay their a year then when that contract is up move to another state for more money since ill have the better title.
Now cost of living is significatly less and you dont pay state taxes so itll be like a 11% increase in salary but still thats really all going to wash out. Im thinking screw the title and the property ill wait around untill i find something else.
What do you think ??

Im going to ask Human resources to see if i can counter offer if not then i dunno…

yeah may onlyt be a 5% increase on paper…but cost of living willl be about a 15% compared to baltimore…

houston is an awosme place…about the only place in texas i would live i like san antonio alot but love houston…

here is the question for you can you move up quicker there or here…

you allready made the hardest jump and thats moving away from home…so what hopping over to texas awsome weather hot yes in summer but managable…

money isnt everything…its nice but your young make your moves now invest your money wisely and then pick where you wanna live…
