haha the snky snky, I posted every slip with for what tires, and weights within 10#'s. like I said last time at the track it was light, no rollbar, safety stuff, alot of sheilds were off , bare metal no interior, speakers wiring I was fitting the rollbar still. it went some 11.4s on the street wheels. I had my car on the dyno sat, it only put down 413whp then I pulled the filter 416whp like 383wtq. The Drs take some more power to turn then last years tires.
JT there a lot of places to safe wight, the top guys are 2800-26xx RACE weights thats nuts. I wouldn’t removed the door bars, the doors are fiberglass. You get hit and on the street, objects can come right thought the door, game over… 14 #'s I’ll not taking mine out. I know TA weight a little more, but were did you weight the car at 3750? My car stock was 3430 1/2 tank without me, TA are low 3500’s stock. If Studderin is 400-500lbs lighter and makes even 10-20hp more on the motor which is feasible then this is about what the race should look like to be honest. Makes perfect sense to me especially seeing what Studderin usually traps compared to jt.

I weighed it at NYI… I am curious to see what the weight difference is between my 15 inch weld’s vs my 17 inch C5’s with the 275 tires…thats probably a lot of rotating mass… i have been thinking about some prostars or billets for a while now, maybe this is the motivation i need.

Weight is a huge difference not to mention it cuts down on abuse to the tranny and other parts.

Hey john, if i end up coming to roch to visit with family anytime soon i would like to do a rematch if you are down for it. My nitrous switch literally caught fire last night at S&R so there is a short somewhere, idk what is up with it. I trapped 94.XX yesterday in street trim N/A (my previous best was 93 with weld skinnies up front and 16 inch firebird wheels out back).
