91-93 240sx Hatchback = RMS13(KA24DE)
91-93 240SX HICAS Hatchback = KRMS13(KA24DE)
91-93 240sx Coupe = MS13 (KA24DE)
94 240sx Convertible = MS13 (KA24DE)
95-98 240sx = S14 (KA24DE) (Sometimes 97-98 S14s are called S14mc)

Engine
-First letter(s) in the code is the Engine Series (CA ,SR, RB, VG, VQ)
-The 2 numbers is the displacement in liters (IE,
24=2.4 ,20=2.0)
-Next letter (if there is one)Is Valve train(IE,
V=VVL[variable valve lift], D=DOHC, neither
Its SOHC
-Next letter is how the fuel is delivered (IE,
E=fuel injection)
-If there is a next letter, then it uses Forced I
induction (IE, T=Turbo, TT=Twin turbo, R=
supercharged)

does it really matter where the “K” goes for the hicas???
cuz i’ve seen else where that called RMKS13 instead of KRMS13…

and imo RMKS13 sound better…
