Just picked this up.....ProStreet Charger.

You think thats light imagine a body mopars with hemis in them

They would be about 500lbs heavier.

A dart?

My brothers is 2700 pounds v8 fully loaded

Dart from the factory with a small block 318/340 was 3000, Dart with a big block was about 350lbs more.

Here you go…specs on a 1968 Dart with the smallest v8 made.

And heres the link if you want to look for yourself. http://www.automobile-catalog.com/make/dodge/dart_4gen/dart_4gen_gt_2-door_hardtop/1968.html If he has a newer Dart it will be heavier.

Mabey a 72 is lighter man the curb weight is 2700 or 2800 same as my duster was

Curb weight of the slant 6 is just under 3k. They have the 72 with 318 listed as 3064 curb weight. Have you actually weighed the car or are you relying on what the NYS registration says?

Fuck ill have to look at his car it doesnt matter . Is this going to a just track or are you going full trim

It will be streeted but it will be in full race trim. There’s not enough left of it to be worth finding stock parts. Now if you did this to an A-body it would be about 2000lbs. But unfortunately finding A-bodies on this side of the country in decent shape for a decent price is almost impossible to do.

Have you ever been to C.A.R.S in greenwich its 40+ acres of mopars he had a perfect rollng chassie of a dusterband alot more cars man

I have the strangest boner right now.

they got a website? need some really hard to find trim pieces.

idt he has a website its been a few years since ive been there he had a 67 complete in mint condition he probably still does if u ever wanna go out lmk ill show u the way

Unloaded the Charger out of the trailer today and pushed it into the shop. Made a mental list of what needs to be done first and for shits and giggled hooked a battery to the headlights and found out the motors are still good for the hidden headlights.

first thing is to drill out 4 million rivets to remove the floors so I can paint the 12 point and chassis work. Gotta fix the pass side 1/4 ,then it’s time to mock up the driveline.

i hate this fucking body style but honestly it looks perfect with the tub. nice find man this thing is gonna be badass.
