K20 powered EG vs EVO running 22psi

if you are that fucking stupid to not go out and get a bent up 2.5" exhaust from a custom shop, you shouldn’t own a vehicle.

…and since you can buy mounts and a harness, i’d be imbarrassed to tell people it took me longer than a day

…sorry, k20 swaps get me fired up… :blah: :finger:

when was the last one you did? I have talked to people who have done them…infact even hasport says they are a total pain in the dick…read more talk less

mabye Im just old school but b series > k-series

ty…

Forgot it was so hard to run linkage. That and I guess you can read either

Hasport the ones that make the mounts AND WIRING HARNESS! for the car. The only thing hard for this swap is the wiring.

:eek2: :owned:

HONDAS ARE FUCKING LEGOS SON!
ps. I call you son because your so bright… pshh

HONDAS ARE FUCKING LEGOS SON

last time i check hasport didnt make a mount kit for egs yet however they do make a full mount and wiring kit of eks and newer

so it would take a little more then 2 days to do a eg but a ek i can see 2 days

so maybe you need to keep your owned sign out of your posts  :owned:

o and incase you dont believe me here is a link to there site http://www.hasport.com/Products/Mounts.htm

sorry i meant ek
^x that statement they make mounts hold up…

dude hasport said in a article about their car that it is a pain but worth it…read read read…I understand most things aren’t in ebonics but you can struggle through

Hondatuning. Did this in there magazine and said the hardest part was running the wires behind the dash.

I feel sorry for you people due to I own a ford… And I know this shit

22psi on stock internals eh? high 11’s? :kekegay:

you make it sound like its bolting on an exhaust. Go ask Eric or Sam or even George how easy it is to get a FWD 4cyl into the high 11’s.

22lbs on the EVO…

Looks a little slow for 22lbs…

http://www.hybrid-racing.com/fabrication.html They sell mounts for the swap.

22psi on inline pro head gasket has been done and pushed cars way faster than 11’s but it isn’t easy…

Please understand that is a RSX-R swap with 220hp factory in a 2200-2000lb car with open exhaust and it was roll

SCC detailed a K20 turbo swap into an EK chassis…that was insane…but i didnt think you could get one into an EG…

a bone stock LS motor with nothing more than a head gasket?

(well, I guess if you drop it in a 1800lb car maybe)

i was gonna say the same thing 22psi on stock internals noo way mabey for a couple sec

actually ls can handle that without the head gasket. I am sure you have seen cheezefrogs vids that was a bone stock LS for a long time that did mid 11’s on 20psi tuned…all the inline pro cars have gone high 10’s low 11’s on stock blocks…infact Brian fishers 9 second civic is a GSR motor with only stock bore 9:1 compression pistons. stock rods, crank, head, cams etc.

go to honda-tech and read there are a lot of stock block cars ripping off 10’s

edit: Karl Hedgpath did 505whp on his stock GSR block with Inline pro head gasket and went 10.9 4 years ago

Ive heard of Eric and totatally respect his car. Ive personally seen with my own eyes 2 stock ls swaps with turbos 18-22 psi run low 12’s high 11’s on stock internals. Yes they did blow after awhile but it was a good couple months.
