I just talked to my engine guy and the typeS full drop is exactly 2000$ more than an h22a …im still not seeing the greatness to this motor. Shit, i could swap the h22 then use the 2 grand i’d save and boost it :rolleyes:

I wouldent recomend h series for anyone, thats my .02 i can make a b series run just as good. i did 2 h22 eg hatches in the last 2 years. and there best times was 14.1. this past summer i ran a 14.0 with a stock gsr motor with bolt ons all NA,(in a cx hatch) accually this motor was the one sitting at hybrid, i belive it was supercharged with like 113,00 miles previous to my ownership

people have made 470whp on stock 1g bottom ends that’s close to 600crank but our cars weigh 1-1500lbs heavier than the hondas in question.

actually 1g bottom ends are good for about 550 then they go down hill from what I have read
iu understand that but they have made more i’m not saying consistant but i’m saying there are 2 or 3 out there pushign the 600hp mark…that one iposted is a stock 92 bottom end it’s not even a “big rod” motor
