KA-T Question

hey guys i have a question… When turbo-ing a KA motor whjat is needed to compinsate for the boost, besides injectors does the ECU need to be flashed for a light KA-t setup? or will a piggyback system work?

you just need to use a fmu or get a 255 lbe fuel pump

fuel pump, injectors and find a cheap used apexi S-AFC I…
basic entry stuff… not too expensive.

Basically these types of options are available as mentioned above…

Low boost
– 8:1 FMU or similar, Walbro fuel pump, stock injectors (absolute 5-7 PSI limit)
– 370cc SR injectors, Walbro fuel pump, Apex’i SAFC (safe limit of 7-10 PSI depending on turbo etc.)
– No ECU work necessary

Higher boost
– Bigger injectors, SAFC/ECU/EMS etc, Walbro, rebuilt internals might be advised typically above 300whp or so (injectors limited to about 550cc’s when using SAFC)

This is off the top of my head, hopefully this can help out a little.
