I recently upgraded from a GT2560R to a GT2871R .86.
When back on the dyno to tune it, 14.5psi.

nice ka-t how many kms u put on that ka boosted so far? tested at the track yet?

holy damn!

nice job

About time good job

did you do any head work at all ? how many k’s on motor if you dont mind saying

Congratz  Keep it going! Make some 1/4 and dyno videos

it wont last or did you do engine work just not list it?

It’s a stock block. It was from an automatic 240sx from the US and had about 100 000km. Nothing was done to the head and engine. There is no reason for my setup not to last. I am running about 4000km per year with the car, I don’t drift or track the car. I might go to a 1/4 track to see how it performs. Boosted ka with stock block are good to ~350whp but if you beat the crap out of it whenever your in it, it won’t probably last that’s for sure. I usually leave it at 10 psi or turn my ebc off to run the wastegate boost, about 7 psi. I ran about 4000km with my previous GT2560R setup at 10psi and just got this new setup tuned.

Why no cams?

ok thats fine for now then i took it as you put more km on it and run that boost a ka wont handel 350 for long you should do a HG that`ll help when you do rip on her

Eventually I will, I do have S13 exhaust cams in the garage and I use to run it when I was n/a, not sure if I will put them in yet. Might go with kelford cams.

Ka are so cheap lol, I got 2 engine in the garage, one fully dismantle for an eventual bulletproof and the other one as a spare.

fair enough

I must re-iterate… we need awesome videos:

lol

Are you running that SSAutochrome/Megan/Ebay bottom mount manifold?

Have you had any problems with it? I’m thinking of doing a similar setup as your previous one, but with a stock maf and 370’s.

Yes bottom mount manifold, I strongly suggest getting either a N60 or N62 maf. I am maxing out the N60 right now. I got 370cc and a GT2560R for sale if you are interested. If you need help with your setup I would be glad to help you out.
