Ka24e removal

Any tips on removing a Ka24e?

taking it out of a parts car/ still using the shell? plan on ever using the motor again? replacing with sr/rb/flux capacitor? have an engine hoist/any hoist? couple friends to help for a few hours?

  2. ???

disconnect engine harness, ps lines, exhaust, rad/heater core hoses. i pulled my engine with my tranny still atatched. just unbolt engine mounts,tranny mounts and driveshaft.

Still using the shell and I’m deciding between a RB or CA. And I do have a hoist

Well if you have a hoist just drop it from the bottom

Disconnect all wiring ,hoses anything connected to engine but only if they go from engine to chassis ,motor mounts,tranny mounts/trams bracket ,exhaust dp ,drive shaft,shifter stick,clutch line,rad,hood,if your going from the stock ka to something new take the pass kick panel take out ecu and the harness that goes through the firewall on the pass side from ecu to the engine it will Need to be converted…

I got the EFI harness out and ill be removing the drive shaft tonight thanks for the help guys
