so today mike, kevin, the guys at ASS, and i got the chance to do some work on my pile. here is the result:

the vband section was originally going to be used just for easier positioning, but mike had a good idea to get another vband and use a piece of scrap bend to make a turn down dump pipe, to take place of the muffler section for the track. so that will be added soon. and i will be searching for a tip to finish it all off
