Knife Laws?

There’s precedent for convicting someone of Felony Possession for carrying a 15-18 inch long knife, without acting in a threatening manner or brandishing it. That’s a short-sword length, and that’s doing precisely what you’re talking about.

ah there it is. meh, would still be badass to walk around with swords though

I agree.

I love it. No fighting or trying to flick your knife open when needed. I have the Chive at first, blade was smaller. But it opens much faster. I have the Leek now. It still opens quick, but not as fast.
It throws people off when I use it at the counter or something. they always ask its it legal. I respond with " Honestly, I have no clue" lol

LOL. Nice. I think in reality those that need to worry are the ones that shouldn’t have knives or weapons anyhow. If your not doing anything you shouldn’t be why would a cop bother you and why worry right?
I’m sure I’ll end up with an assist in my collection at some point. Probably the new ZT305 which is a smaller version of the 300. Non framelock but still has the assist open.

i carry a box cutter, if i needed to cut someones throat it would do the trick.

What does one hand opening mean?

Also, is it legal to carry a knife in your pocket or a fixed blade in a holder concealed?

gun>knife

in combat, yes, in everything else you could use a weapon, no, not at all, i’d like to see you open a box or strip a wire with a gun

i’m gonna add one of these to my collection once I find the cash…

ninja stars

ive walked into stores after work with a 9" Ka-Bar knife in a sheeth on my belt…nobody ever said anything.

I just added a Stider PT to my stable. Very sexy Titanium framelock pocket knife. Small and practical. A bit expensive though they hold their value and I got a very good deal.

I always loved knifes and weapons. I have a friend that’s heavy into them and he just gifted me my first real quality knife last week. An Emerson Commander with a Krein regrind on the blade. Silver skull bead on the lanyard to boot. It’s an amazing EDC (every day carry) for me. Razor sharp…literally. I shaved my arm a lil with it to check. It has the “wave” feature that grabs your pocket edge while pulling it out. Essentially it deploys the blade AS you pull it so it’s faster than a switchblade. It’s light and opens and locks solid as hell. Awesome gift I’ll never forget. Thanks Ryan!

Just before he gifted me that knife I had ordered a Zero Tolerance 200 model for myself. That is a beast of a knife. It’s razor sharp and ergo friendly. It’s a bit bulky for an EDC so I’ll be carrying it less though I still love it and will use it quite a bit around the house. I’ll carry it from time to time as well.

I bought a Strider PT off Ryan today for a steal of a price. It’s much smaller and it’s my first framelock knife ever. I love this lil guy…so lightweight yet strong. This will be an EDC backup I think.

Just prior to the knives, I bought a Surefire E2D led Defender. It’s a fairly small flashlight that’s insanely bright on it’s high setting and has wicked throw. You’ll think “cop” the minute you see this thing on. Both ends have a scalloped bezel for striking if needed. I can tell you first hand that at night the brightness will temporarily blind somebody so the bezel is unlikely to be needed. It also fits in your hand like a roll of change which would enable a better fist strike if needed. It’s already proved practical a few times where I needed light at night.

I may appear nuts or paranoid though I’m not…I’ll call it personal preparedness. I just have always loved weapons and now I have someone with the knowledge to guide me.

Any of you guys collectors or killers? :stuck_out_tongue:

damn it, must not impulse buy

Maybe i should change my sig…

Just bought this for a steal on ebay.
My first damascus steel blade.
Smaller piece with only a 3" blade. Anodized titanium framelock.

I have a few pieces I will be snapping up once I get a job again. LOL

PM John Locke

For what? Is he a knife collector?
Or is he a cop and you’re setting me up? J/K

Edit—
I don’t watch lost so I didn’t get it till I used the googlez

people who collect knives scare me a little.

People who are afraid of knifes and knife collectors scare me.
If we were more open to being armed as a society crime would go down.
