the car hasent been ran in like over a year… it was perfect before oh ya its a ka24e… think it might be a stuck valve??
Check oil level and/or change it. Quite possibly very low. Inspect the car generally too, like all fluids, hoses, perhaps spark plugs, grounds etc. I’d advise a fresh, full engine of oil and a new oil filter. Just start with the basics for now i’d say.
Any other details on the sound though? Rev-related? Constant? How long has it been run etc?
i have the same issue, it is nothing to do with oil plugs and wires because ive changed all that myself… it has something else to do with the engine… valves?? somethign im not a mechanic so im not sure but its nothing to do with the oils.
adding about 1/4 liter more oil than recommended into my engine worked. My engine consumes a bit of oil but once the knocking comes back more oils going in. I also removed the valve cover and lubed the cam up. Did the job well. hope that works for you.
