here is an example of a diet that avgs 15-20lb loss within 21 days - I wouldn’t consider the time between bfast & lunch, or between lunch and dinner a “fast” its only 6 hours, and half way between you’re having protein. This is just an example, as it looks very similar to most cutting diets - maybe some have some more carbs in there - but eating 6-7 full meals, I’m fairly certain is a thing of the past.

this is a great video of nutrition myths that touches on this too. as far as reputable sources go, this guy played in the NFL, and is now shrrrrrrrreeeeeeedded @250+lbs naturally, in all sorts of magazines and highly regarded in the fitness industry.

with anything fitness related, yes you can find anything that is evidence for or against anything you can dream up. everyone has different opinions and everyone reacts to different things differently.

I didn’t finish watching the video yet, but before I forget, at the 2:30sec mark he says a nutritionist said to not eat 6-7 meals a day and he said as soon as he stopped he gained weight because his digestive track wasn’t wasting so much energy, then his next line is, it’s a myth that eating 6-8 meals a day speeds up your metabolism lol, but I still have to watch the rest.

I like the greens juice I get at trader joes. Blends well with vanilla protein.

I finished watching the video and it wasn’t too bad but I’m surprised he didn’t talk about the “golden hour” being a myth, not that I think it’s a myth but you figure he would of talked about it since its one of the most known and controversial rules.

the people I have been watching are Rich Piana and Bostin Lloyd. They’re open about steroid use. This is rich piana http://youtu.be/PTO3k4n98ag

maybe the eating 6-8 meals a day for a natural competitor isn’t beneficial but the steroid guys probably eat 10 meals a day.

I wouldn’t call steroids cheating, whether you take steroids or not you still have to work your balls off to look great, you just get there faster. The only reason I disapprove is because I’ve seen people get results naturally, but mostly because I’ve seen what can happen to people in the long run, and most of the old timers I know do regret it.

I actually had blood work done for my physical and I’m a regular user of creatine. And my Doctor called me to give me the results, everything was great but she stressed how my kidneys are taking a beating, so the creatine is every couple of days at 2 grams vs 5 every day. The point I’m trying to make is that’s just creatine doing that, I can’t imagine what the hard stuff would do.

Thats pretty interesting that 5g has that kind of effect. How much water are you drinking? Do you think you could drink more to help keep them flushed and clean? What other types of supplements are you taking? Maybe its the effect of a fatburner+preworkout+creatine+etc etc you know?

Translation - BUY OUR SUPPLEMENTS!

I can def say I do not drink enough water which I’m getting better at, I’m just never thirsty, it’s hard to make myself drink, and my pee is always relatively clear not like bright yellow. The only other supplement I use is Spark by Advocare, absolutely great. It’s not a pre workout, it contains vitamins and has a great taste and peps me up, and it doesn’t build a tolerance, so it always works! I tried M-Stak with meh results, more of a placebo if you ask me. At first I thought the stuff was really working because I was putting on mass, but then I just realized the stuff made me way hungrier.

I go back December 30th for a blood test to see if my new habits have changed my body.

or you could just workout and eat what it says and be fine, no guns to our heads.

If you read up on a lot of supps they always recommend increasing water intake, probably for reasons similar to yours - not to mention it will probably benefit you exponentially anyway.
My best advice is to look up Amino1…it says 1scoop per 8-12oz water or w/e, but the owner of the company himself says put two scoops in a gallon jug and drink throughout the day.
If you don’t mind carrying a gallon jug of pink water around (rasp.lemonade is way to go) i say, do it.
More BCAA’s can’t ever hurt, and by having a 1gal jug, you have a visual marker/reminder of how much you drink - even if the supp does nothing for you, it at least ensured you drank that whole gallon of water because you don’t want to waste it each day, and it tastes good.
Depending on what time i go to the gym, I’ll drink 1.5gal a day EASY, since 1/2 is during my workout alone.

I wouldn’t call it cheating either, I think it’s part of the sport. I think it’s too bad it’s illegal because then people wouldn’t lie about it as much, although the supplement industry would probably lose a lot of money.

Like I’ve said I’ve taken prohormones, and even taking them makes you no longer a natural competitor, although closer to natural than a true steroid user. Even when I took the pro hormones my forearms would burn holding on to the weights, makes it hard to hold on, also got some lower back pumps. I’m sure different steroidshave different side effects, pro hormones are essentially steroids that didn’t work well so they were basically scraped/thrown away because there were more effective steroids at the time. That’s why these prohormones aren’t banned right away, but every year more and more are banned. You can get gynocamastia from prohormones as well.

Real injectable steroids are probably safer then a lot of the prohormones, and more effective so that’s the direction I’d like to take when I decide to give it a go again.

In for burnt hotdog in a gstring pics!!! lol
