As for the finding the most hateful thing…you are correct. I agree 100%. Especially in public, on a stage, when you are trying to be funny and a person is giving you shit, you try to smash them back has hard as you can.
I’ve had those times where I have been so mad at another person that I said something I would never even consider saying normally. But you just lose sight of anything else and dig up the most hurtful thing you can muster and spew it out as quickly as possible without considering what might happen afterwards.
