Kurts 95 Talon

1st pull:

Pump gas, 10.9-11.1AFR through the pull, made almost 500whp @29psi

post up a log we can check it out, pictures are poop IMO.

16 degree peak? what do you rev out to?

looking good though.

is this car going to make an appearance at the DSM shootout in norwalk this month???

I haven’t calibrated the MAF so the log looks like ass because i just yanked fuel out with the sliders until I got close to the a/f i wanted without knock.

Car revs to 9800 (so far) I haven’t played with any timing yet or anything, what you see is what it is.

AS for 80-100mph took 1.7s

Yes car will be at the shootout providing it doesn’t break in the next week.

Awesome dude … I can’t wait to see it!

Well i’m hoping I can shoot some color on the bumpers this weekend.

Well get that bitch done so we can hook up!

sucks that it will never be faster than my corvette, but still cool I guess.

I tried.

I give you kudos for your effort, my good man.

(seriously tho, awesome job.)

It’s not over yet, that was the first run out with it. Def hauls ass that’s for sure. I dont’ want to mess with it too much until I get to the shootout (other than getting it to idle)

Bumper as of 10:00 tonight. Needs some touchup and another coat, then color coat

holy shit, its getting painted.

I think my heart just quit for a few seconds rofl.

HDR pics when its done

It’s just getting a quick “matching” job I’m not spending much time on it right now.

Dad and I have plans to paint it this winter the Sonic Boom Blue I want.

Again, I know I’m going to catch flack for not doing it “right” the first time, but I only spent $40 so far on paint and I really want it to just not look gray/black for the shootout next week. The fog light holes I filled are a little wavy but again, it’s just a quick job to make it semi -match, I’ll fix it this winter.

Here it is mocked up checking to see how far off the paint matching was, it’s not too bad actually.

(Ignore the ground effects I haven’t glued them back on yet)

Hell it looks good for what it is, and def. better than black.

Looks awesome Kurt!

i dont know how to react not seeing a black bumper on this car

yea it def looks good especially for the money spent.:bigok:
