Its time for a new car. I was gonna get the G35 coupe… but i think its time for an SUV. I cant decide between the LR3 and the FX45. Does anyone here own either one? any impressions? Im worried about the reliability of the LR3.
any other suggestions? looking at anything in the range of $35-49K… cant be more than 49K

I would go G35 over those in a heartbeat. But id wait til this summer til the new G coupe is out. But if i had to choose one of the two you posted, Id get a camaro :tup:

I would own this because it is less horrible than either of the other two. Good lord is that FX45 ugly–at least the LR3 has a good excuse (it’s actually functional).

If you want a “car like SUV”, buy a car.
If you want a “car with most of the snow capability of an SUV”, buy an AWD car.
If you need to tow stuff, and haul stuff, and still haul people, buy an SUV, a real SUV, not a tall wagon.
That said at least the LR3 is a real SUV. Just not one I’d ever consider owning, probably because insane offroad ability while sacrificing on road capability isn’t high on my list.
Cherokee SRT-8 is low 40’s.
Base Porsche Cayenne is low 40’s.
V8 Toureg is low 40’s.
BMW X3 and X5 are in that price range.
All of which I would take over the Land Rover or Infiniti. Those two just don’t do anything for me. :gotme:
