Jay (BDR LT1) … just hooked his laptop up to his TV Via VGA cable … no biggie worked sweet … 56" of great quality stolen porn …

here’s were the problem began … after i left, his batt was dying so he plugged in the charging cord … puff of smoke … no laptop power … TV’s good … laptop no power …

Somebody PLEASE call him if ya could help …

sounds like you fried the mobo. Does it turn on at all? any leds?

yea mobo sounds fried, what kindof laptop is it?

a lot of the older compaq/hp models had the power supply reserver right on the mother board, and it would get way over heated .
