i know alot of professionals, physicians, attorneys, etc etc… who smoke weed at parties and the events that they hold in their houses, but again, id be willing to bet they arent becoming any more productive by indulging in a bad habit.

Decriminalized yes, legalized no. they would start charging a ton and it would most likely still be illegal to grow with out an expensive license. it would probably be weak shit too.
Side note… on that topic… If it was legalized… it would be weakened, and heavily taxed… hence people would buy it from places that werent taxing it… aka illegal places, but NOW, there is now way to regulate what is and isnt allowed, you think that the government is going to allow this cash cow to make money and be used without them being able to reap some of the profits, be serious… it would be impossible to regulate, penalties would be impossible to assess, too much gray area, its a retarded concept that leads to more DWI, DUI, traffic, unproductability, etc etc…
NOW, show me some positives from it… I’m going to venture that all you pot smokers will offer nothing concrete other than. “it helps me relax, i focus more (BS), It helps me score chicks, it makes me cool, im more productive, I make money off it, etc etc…”

I know 4 people who dropped out of college after smoking themselves stupid. Not saying it was the only thing they did wrong, but I def saw a change when they first started smoking.
Also, the comparison between pot and alcohol is stupid, it takes one joint to fuck up a group of 4-5 people, it takes at least a case of beer to do the same thing and thats if you have light weights.
It doesn’t really matter if it’s legalized or not, it’s still super easy to find. I think decriminalizing it would be the way to go though. I mean, like someone else said, we’re paying for pot heads to sit in jail. It’s pretty stupid.
I know a lot of successful people who are pot heads, too.
I think a lot of you people would be surprised how many people do smoke weed. I work on the rez, and everyone from under the sun buys rolling papers, blunt wraps, dutchies, screens, etc. A lot of older people too. It’s not just younger people.
wow that was pretty stupid thing to say… i have seen more then just 4 friends all just lost there jobs to drinking…
the comparison is also stupid as well seeing that the cost lets see 10 bucks to roll a joint to 10 dollers to drink a case of 32 of natty ice. and between 4 people yes the joint is going to get you going but its not going to be a crazy high. then with the 32 beers between 4-5 people your still going to get buzzed either way in the amount of time if your pounding them back also comes into play. you dont need to drink 8 beers in 5 mins but you also dont need to smoke a whole joint in that matter of time as well.
i think it would be best if it was legalized. it would show how closely it is to beer. and if you were impaired to drive you would suffer the same consequence if you were busted for a DWI.
also, i think it would clean up a lot of the weed that is on the streets and make it a lot more pure. there is a lot of shit weed thats flowing out there right now.
