Take the Supra for example. There was approximately 6977 turbo cars produced. (93-98). The potential was realized and the value stayed high. The Ford GT will be the same exact thing.
Can’t compare that to Z06’s which were FAR greater produced.

Ford GT is holding the record, and I don’t see anyone getting near it. You need big cubes + boost to get there. Although there is a lot of speculation around the current record reading being an “error”.
As of current yes, by quite a bit too. 266.9mph! Im sure SW will be turning the wick up alot though to try and get it back. The GT owner says that 275 shouldnt be too far off on a good day:ohnoes

I honestly debating ripping my car apart and building for 1000hp. But honestly, it’s unnecessary. Especially around here. The 700hp or so I’m putting down is more than enough, and it’s scary as is. I really feel like I have the best street setup possible (FWIW).
