Limited Edition 427 Corvette Z06

should the vetter really have “entry-level” or “base” models?

ugh. :picard:

sigh now all I can do is think back to the thread between you and Adam…

ha!! so I’m right :loopie:
obviosuly I’m wrong, but I did say it was a guess

this is coming from the company that loves to use old badges on shitty new cars i.e. look at all the shit they’ve thrown “SS” on.

Agreed it was an amazingly bad comparison, but you also didn’t say why it’s such a big deal.

Props to them for being able to get the extra sales and $$$ from a good exploitation of the mid-life crisis crowd. A car with go and show is always a winner so why not take full advantage.

sorry sauceiffer

Like when “Rally Sport” meant something? :stuck_out_tongue:

lol I heart sauceiffer!

it isn’t necessarily about this particular car though…

GM in general is notorious for it…like the Monte as shown

or the Trans AM, how many Anniversary dates need to be celebrated/made into a different car?

isn’t it amazing? Handbuilt 505hp 427 and a 36/36,000 bumper to bumper and a 5/100,000 powertrain. you can get it serviced at almost any of the 4,400 chevrolet dealers in the US. (must be Z06 certified in order to work on it)

I love this car

they only celebrate the 5 or 10 year marks so I don’t have a problem with that. And they usually do it by putting the package on a new body style or all new chassis

Totally agree with GM using the tactic too often as a whole. I think they use it the right way the the corvette.

did you say something about RS?

One of the worst designators. Ever.

C’mon, it’s got a WS-6 hood!

Please, Not another old mans car. We need more vehicles we all want to drive, like the new Suzuki Equator.

:ohyeah:

:carnut
Agree 100%, and another thing that I like is that even know general motors’ products lose value quicker than other manufactures, that just means that I will be able to afford one sooner…

And if you purchase a product like this, typical problems that customers’ bring to your attention such as deprecation, build materials, and all the other things that people pick on GM for just don’t come into play when talking about new corvettes…

It’s no longer the name that sells this product, it’s the fact that GM took the ball and ran with it to build a quality product that competes (and beats) other supercars that cost 2,3 and even 5 times as much…

Once again

Dave,
Nice job on the heads up.I hadn’t even seen this one yet.U guys going to be selling it for sticker or will there be a mark up?I actually like the car and like the fact that it will have some rarity with it,But an extra $10K for a few badges, rims, and decals is tough though.Tell ya what give it to me for Invoice and we have a deal:sario:
D

:burnin: we will probably be at sticker or just over, it will depend on what the demand is when they come out. i would sell it to you but that would be between you and I, not the whole website.
