SS Z06

Sunday i was told that Chevy will be bringing out a production SS Z06, its a supercharged Z06, supposidly around 750hp. I got the info from a good friend of mine, he’s #3 on the waiting list.

Has anyone else heard anything about this car???

yes i heard also that they were going to start making SS vettes. and same thing with the new bodystyle for the camaro. the Z28 will be the faster one and the SS will be the handling or some other type of one.

i heard the ss vette will be around 650hp on motor… but 800+ wont be hard to reach… hopefully that motor will be built solid and handle smaller pulleys for more boost…just like the charged ford cobra motors

i also read that the SS vette will out handle the z06 and be the king of the ring…the nurburgring to be exact. that will be impressive… as the Z06 is 10 seconds behind the carrera GT porshe. with 150hp more, and abit better tires/handling, it should whip that porshe’s ass and be 1/4 the cost

for going supposly bankrupt, GM is putting out some sick vehicles.

heard that vette is gonna be all carbon fiber also

yeah the current Z06’s are mostly carbon fiber, the rear fenders weigh 3 lbs each.

yeah, the LS based motors really saved GM’s ass in the performance department.

Just as the dude below you stated, the current Z06 is made of CF and also balsa wood.

well considering itll prolly hand almost anything its ass off the showroom floor i dont think its that gay…they could call it anything and it wouldnt be gay

I was practically born in a vette, been around vettes my entire life… I just think that calling it an SS is a product of stupid new young folk in the gm department who are getting ahead of the old heads who should be running things.

Stingray would be cool to bring back.
